U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Tyler Leggett, an aircraft nondestructive technician with Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 12, Marine Aircraft Group 12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing utilizes an Eddy Current reference standard at Osan Air Base, South Korea, May 27, 2025. Marines with MALS-12 attached to Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 214, F-35B squadron from Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Arizona, while they deployed to augment MAG-12, 1st MAW under the Unit Deployment Program, which provides U.S.-based units with operational experience in the Indo-Pacific. Marines with VMFA-214 travelled to Korea to gain experience operating with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific and share knowledge and tactics during their participation in the UDP.
