Sailors and Marines assigned to amphibious assault ship USS Peleliu (LHA 5) and the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit participate in a game of “Red Light, Green Light” with children from St. Clement’s Primary School during a community relations outreach in Hong Kong. Peleliu’s port visit represents an opportunity to promote peace and stability in the Asia-Pacific region, demonstrate commitment to regional partners and foster growing relationships. Peleliu is the flagship for the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group on deployment in the western Pacific region with amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20), amphibious dock landing ship USS Rushmore (LSD 47), and embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit.
