Steve Morrissette, from the University of Texas at Austin Applied Research Laboratory, performs final checks on a REMUS 600 with the Integrated Precision Underwater Mapping package during AUVfest 2008, currently being held at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center's Narragansett Bay Test Range. AUVfest is a demonstration of 13 autonomous undersea vehicle systems originally developed by the Office of Naval Research for mine hunting.
