FLEET ACTIVITIES YOKOSUKA, Japan (June 1, 2025) - Former Major League Baseball (MLB) and Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) star pitcher Keiichi Yabu coaches American School in Japan's Joe Sexton as MLB scouts watch at the 10th Annual Far East All-Stars and Pro Scouting Combine June 1, 2025 at Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka's (CFAY) Berkey Field. Yabu joined former SoftBank Hawks and Tokyo Giants player David Walker II as well as as well as players, coaches and scousts from the Kanagawa Future Dreams, New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Los Angeles Angels. 35 players from schools in Japan and Korea received professional coaching and had their stats documented. The annual event also gave players and their parents an opportunity to network with industry experts as they attempt to either make the jump to the collegiate level or learn about other career paths in sports.
