SOUTH CHINA SEA (May 22, 2025) Sailors aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Benfold (DDG 65) stand in formation for a service dress whites uniform inspection conducted by Cmdr. Rebecca Conti-Vock, executive officer of Benfold, from Baltimore, Maryland. The Sailors were inspected as part of Benfold’s division in the spotlight program, May 22, while operating in the South China Sea. Benfold is forward deployed and assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s Largest DESRON and U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
