Secretary of the Air Force Troy E. Meink signs the National Space Defense Center heritage board during a visit to the organization at Schriever Space Force Base, Colo., May 28, 2025. During the visit, Meink received a mission brief and a tour of the operations floor. The NSDC, backed by the DoD and Intelligence Community, enhances U.S. space threat detection and defense while fostering unity of effort and information sharing among the DoD, National Reconnaissance Office, and interagency partners.
