Jayson Alexander, a recent graduate of Queen’s College in Charlotte, and a newly commissioned officer assigned to the North Carolina National Guard's 130th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, meets with U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Wes Morrison, the NCNG Assistant Adjutant General-Maneuver, in Raleigh, NC, May 21, 2025. The meeting happened by chance, one week after Alexander raced his No. 2 Chevrolet Silverado in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck series race held in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, and two weeks after Brig. Gen. Morrison spoke at his commissioning ceremony held at UNC-Charlotte.
