Airmen from the 125th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron prepare to tow an F-35A Lightning II following a barrier arresting system certification test at Jacksonville International Airport. The F-35A, assigned to the 159th Fighter Squadron, engaged the BAK-14 cable to validate emergency arresting procedures and ensure mission readiness. The system is designed to safely decelerate aircraft during aborted takeoffs or emergency landings. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Staff Sgt. Jacob Hancock)
