    NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY SOUDA BAY, Greece (May 23, 2025) Participants in a Battle of Crete anniversary observance watch the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, known as the Red Arrows, at the Allied War Cemetery in Souda Bay, Crete, Greece, on May 24, 2025. Capt. Stephen Steacy, commanding officer, Naval Support Activity (NSA) Souda Bay, joined service members from the Hellenic, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand armed forces during a ceremony marking the 84th anniversary of the battle to defend Crete against the Nazi invasion. NSA Souda Bay is an operational ashore installation that enables and supports U.S., Allied, Coalition, and partner nation forces to preserve security and stability in the European, African, and Central Command areas of responsibility.
