    A stone memorial at Ardennes American Cemetery in Neupré, Belgium honors fallen U.S. service members, May 8, 2025. Coast Guard Seaman Apprentice Woodrow, the sole Coast Guardsman interred in the cemetery, served aboard Edsall-class destroyer escort USS Menges (DE-320) during WWII and died after a German U-boat torpedoed the USS Menges.
