Key leaders from WRAIR-EME and delegates from the Republic of Georgia’s Tbilisi State Medical University, the Georgian Defence Forces, and the National Center for Disease Control visit WRAIR headquarters in Silver Spring, MD to discuss further avenues for collaboration and cooperation as their enduring international partnership approaches its twelfth year. The visit began at the Pentagon for a meeting with Dr. Stephen Ferrara, Dr. David Smith, Ms. Tracie Lattimore, and Dr. Danny Shiau and was followed by a tour of Arlington National Cemetery, where the Old Guard provided a special tour and an opportunity to observe the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
