250211-N-JM360-1001 INCHEON, South Korea (Feb. 11, 2025) – Utilitiesman 2nd Class Michael Fields, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3 Detachment Chinhae in the set-up of HESCO barriers for Republic of Korea Navy Cold Spell Exercise in Incheon Mae-Do ROK-N Base. Det Chinhae had the valuable opportunity to participate directly, engaging in hands-on operations that strengthened interoperability and enhanced the working relationship with ROK Navy Seabees. NMCB-3 serves as the stand-in engineering force for Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet, executing high-quality construction operations, activities, and investments, and is capable at the unit-of-action level to support major combat operations in the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command area of responsibility with efficient airfield, waterfront, and advanced base construction.
