    INDOPACOM Commander Admiral Sam Paparo, visited the Danial K. Inouye Asia-Pacific Security Studies Center (DKI APCSS) to address DKI APCSS Fellows by offering a clear assessment of the security situation in the region and his outlook on shared efforts in deterrence currently underway to ensure peace and prosperity in the region, Honolulu, Hawaii, May 22, 2025. Admiral Paparo is the 27th commander of the nation’s oldest and largest combatant command and is responsible for all U.S. military activities in the Indo-Pacific, spanning 36 nations, 14 time zones, and 60 percent of the world's population. DKI APCSS is a U.S. Department of Defense institute that addresses regional and global security issues, inviting military and civilian representatives of the United States and Asia-Pacific nations to its comprehensive program of executive education and workshops, both in Hawaii and throughout the Indo-Pacific region.
