U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Paul M. Benenati, commanding general of the 7th Civil Support Command, is joined by other Kaiserslautern Military Community service members cutting a cake at the SHARP Stand Down Community Event at Rhine Ordnance Barracks, April 3. The U.S. Army’s Sexual Harassment and Assault Response and Prevention program (SHARP) aims to raise awareness on the lingering problems of sexual harassment and assault that affect the military. A week-long series of seminars and discussions across the KMC culminated in an information bazaar at ROB, highlighted by a pledge ceremony and cake-cutting that recognized the renewed commitment to combat intolerable sexual behaviors that victimize others.
