Fort Sill's Artillery Half Section presented the mounted color guard and a Caparisoned (Riderless) Horse for the Armed Forces Day Bull Ride benefiting the Military Rodeo Cowboy Hall of Fame on Saturday, May 17, 2025. The World Senior Pro Bull Riding Association presented the event. The tradition of the caparisoned or riderless horse to the U.S. Armed Forces dates back to the early years of the nation, and it's a powerful symbol of respect for fallen servicemembers.
