U.S. Air Force airmen assigned with the 320th Special Tactics Squadron, Kadena Air Base, and Philippine Air Force airmen assigned with the 710th Special Operations Wing, Clark Air Base, participate in a military free fall airdrop exercise above Fort Magsaysay, Philippines, April. 22, 2025. The exercise helped facilitate special operations forces subject matter exchanges between the 129th Rescue Wing, 320th Special Tactics Squadron, 710th Special Operations Wing, and The Armed Forces of the Philippines Joint Special Operations Group.
Balikatan, translates to “shoulder to shoulder”, is a longstanding annual exercise between the armed forces of the Philippines and the U.S. military designed to strengthen our ironclad alliance, improve our capable combined force and demonstrate our commitment to regional security and stability.
