Foxtrot Company, 1st Aviation Regiment, 1st Combat Aviation Brigade, MQ-1 Gray Eagle, part of Joint Task Force - Southern Border, takes off from the airstrip Libby Airfield Fort Huachuca, Ariz., May 14, 2025. MQ-1 Gray Eagle is being operated for detection and monitoring along the southern border. Under the direction of the U.S. Northern Command, Joint Task Force–Southern Border aligns efforts to seal the southern border and repel illegal activity and is responsible for full-scale, agile, and all-domain operations, which will allow for more effective and efficient DoD operations.
