PEMBROKE, N.H. — State Command Sgt. Maj. James Campbell, State Sergeant Major of the Massachusetts Army National Guard, talks with participants of Cyber Yankee 2025 at the Edward Cross Training Center, May 14, 2025. Members of the Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Connecticut and Rhode Island National Guard, active duty U.S. Marines from Camp Lejeune, international partners from Israel, Kenya and Paraguay, a State Trooper, and an analyst from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Fusion Center participated in the training.
Cyber Yankee is a regionally focused exercise evaluating a whole-of-government response to a significant cyber incident involving critical infrastructure and key resources. The participants work on simulated exercises together to perform incident response, threat analysis, and cyber defense operations.
Senior Leadership from the different entities were able to visit and experience some of the critical training on May 14th.
