A High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) vehicle, assigned to the 1st Battalion, 11th Field Artillery Regiment, is loaded into a C-130J Super Hercules aircraft during the Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Center (JPMRC) 25-02 exercise at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Jan. 18, 2025. The C-130 aircraft is capable of operating from rough, dirt strips and is the prime transport for airdropping troops and equipment into hostile areas.
