    DoD Southern Border 2025

    U.S. Soldiers with Bravo Company, 2nd Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, assigned to Joint Task Force - Southern Border, conduct a joint patrol with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in Nogales, Ariz., April 18, 2025. During these patrols, U.S. Soldiers are responsible for aiding U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents with detection and monitoring operations. Under the direction of U.S. Northern Command, Joint Task Force–Southern Border aligns efforts to seal the southern border and repel illegal activity and is responsible for full-scale, agile, and all-domain operations, which will allow for more effective and efficient DoD operations.
