Republic of Korea Marine Corps Brig. Gen. Han Chang-hee, director of engineering for the ROK/U.S. Combined Forces Command, observes a bilateral training plan during the Korean Marine Exchange Program 25.1 at Rodriguez Live Fire Complex, South Korea, on March 13, 2025. Chang-hee observed training that was conducted to familiarize ROK and U.S. units with the unique equipment each force utilizes, providing mutual understanding and enhancing cohesion between the Marine units for future joint operational effectiveness. KMEP is an exercise that provides iterative opportunities for ROK Marine Corps and U.S. Marine Corps units to train together, improving their combined capabilities to deter threats and maintain peace on the Korean Peninsula.
