Rear Adm. Kristin Acquavella, commander of NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support, concluded a four-day executive outreach visit to North Carolina May 10. The outreach engagements included meeting with key stakeholders, visiting schools, interacting with veteran-owned businesses, meeting with players from the Carolina Courage professional soccer team, and enlisting seven future sailors into the Navy. The event culminated with Acquavella delivering the keynote address at the commissioning ceremony for four naval officers at her alma mater, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
