Phillip Campas, a drill instructor at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, S.C., and a Bakersfield, Calif., native, teaches basic drill to educators from Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts, during the first day of the Educator Workshop at MCRD Parris Island, April 3, 2013.
