William Beaumont Army Medical Center’s Research Day, which occurred on May 7 at the main hospital campus, warranted a few judges to help choose the best podium and poster presentation. Judges pictured were (left to right) Rebecca Smiley, retired microbiologist, Dr. Elisa Robles Escajeda, UTEP coordinator and research assistant professor of biological sciences, Maj. Melissa P. Young, WBAMC Interservice Physician Assistant Program Phase 2 Site program director, and Dr. Germán Rosas-Acosta, UTEP associate professor of biological sciences. Also standing with the judges was Dr. Karl H. Wenger, chief of the WBAMC Department of Clinical Investigation.
