U.S. Marines with Company A, 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, and Republic of Korea (ROK) Marines with 3rd Engineer Company, 1st Engineer Battalion, 1st Marine Division, prepare to raid a building during a bilateral military operations on urban terrain training as part of the Korean Marine Exchange Program 25.1 at Rodriguez Live Fire Complex, South Korea, March 12, 2025. This training was conducted to familiarize both units with the unique equipment each force utilizes, providing mutual understanding and enhancing cohesion between the Marine and Army units for future joint operational effectiveness. KMEP is an exercise that provides iterative opportunities for ROK Marine Corps and U.S. Marine Corps units to train together, improving their combined capabilities to deter threats and maintain peace on the Korean Peninsula.
