250504-N-CY609-1070 MCAS Iwakuni, Japan (May 04, 2025) — Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3 participate in the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force-Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni Friendship Day at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni. The JMSDF-MCAS Iwakuni Friendship Day is hosted annually to strengthen relationships with the host community and offer a cultural exchange that highlights the mutual support between the U.S. and Japan. NMCB-3 serves as the stand-in engineering force for Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet, executing high-quality construction operations and supporting major combat operations in the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command area of responsibility.
