250502-N-GL382-1001 MANUS, Papua New Guinea (May 2, 2025) Construction Electrician 2nd Class Joshua Sambrano, from El Paso, Texas, and Builder 3rd Class Armando Gregorio, from Vallejo, California, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Three (NMCB-3), pull wire through PVC conduit and splice the wires together, during an electrical Unit-Driven-Training (UDT) in order to prepare for the upcoming Repair and Upgrade Small Boat Jetty project. NMCB-3 serves as the stand-in engineering force for Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet, executing high-quality construction operations, activities, and investments, and is capable at the unit-of-action level to support major combat operations in the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command area of operations with efficient airfield, waterfront, and advanced base construction.
