Rachael Gonesh, the standards and waivers program manager with the Office of the Air Surgeon, Air National Guard, Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, briefs Airmen and full-time providers during a Medical Case Management (MCM) Workshop at the 156th Wing, Muñiz Air National Guard Base, Carolina, Puerto Rico, May 5, 2025. The MCM workshop was designed for full-time providers and health system technicians, where they reviewed aeromedical issues, waiver concerns, and various operational systems to process medical cases, including Line of Duty (LOD) determinations, Disability Evaluation System (DES) processing, physical exams/waivers, and medical clearances.
