U.S. Air Force staff weather officers with the 116th Combat Weather Flight, Washington Air National Guard, learn how to operate the Integrated Weather Observation System during Exercise Phoenix Dawn 2025 at Camp Rilea, Ore., on May 6, 2025. The IWOS is a new system, which is much lighter, more transportable, solar-powered, and comes with upgraded software.
