Battalion Commanders from the 5th Logistics Support Command (LSC), Republic of Korea Army (ROKA), visited Camp Carroll on Apr. 28 for an office call with U.S. Army Materiel Support Command – Korea counterparts.
Lt. Col.(P) Park, Gyu Jin (72nd Maintenance Battalion), Lt. Col.(P) Park, Si Hyun (626th Multifunctional Transportation Battalion), and Lt. Col. Lee, Jin Hee (12th Food Service Unit) met with Lt. Col. Frederick T. Dequina (25th Transportation Battalion), Lt. Col. Howard W. Reardon (498th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion), and Lt. Col. Jason A. Russell (6th Ordnance Battalion)
They introduced their units, discussed operational similarities and differences, and explored logistics cooperation across the Korean Peninsula.
This initial meeting set the foundation for further exchanges, including facility visits and regular joint support meetings to strengthen alliance and interoperability.
*The 5th Logistics Support Command, under the 2nd Operations Command of the ROKA, is headquartered in Suseong-gu, Daegu, and supports its subordinate units.
