U.S. and British forces, stationed at Naval Support Facility(NSF) Diego Garcia, compete in the 1st annual Diego Garcia Island Games, organized by the Junior Enlisted Association to boost morale and promote camaraderie, interoperability, and joint force capabilities among NSF Sailors, tenant commands, and British forces. NSF Diego Garcia's mission is to provide critical support to U.S. and allied forces forward deployed to the Indian Ocean, while supporting multi-theater forces operating in the CENTCOM, AFRICOM, EUCOM, and PACOM areas of responsibilities in support of overseas contingency operations.
