Sonar Technician 2nd Class Ryan Barrow uses the multi-function towed array controller to deploy sound navigation and ranging equipment from the stern of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS McCampbell (DDG 85) during an anti-submarine warfare exercise. McCampbell is part of Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, forward deployed to Yokosuka, Japan, to support regional security and stability of the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
