A wheel loader transfers recycled asphalt in a dump truck at Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., Mar. 14, 2025. To expedite construction of the Ellsworth runway in preparation for the B-21 Raider mission, the 28th Civil Engineer Squadron utilized recycled asphalt from previous base construction projects to build a temporary haul route for heavy equipment vehicle traffic.
