Another member of Scott Moore’s Family who served during World War II was Tech. Sgt. Thomas McIver, who was killed in action near Paris on Aug. 29, 1944, during the Battle of Vexin, an intense ten-day battle which claimed the lives of nearly 3,000 people including U.S. fores, German troops and French civilians.
