Fort Bliss and the 1st Armored Division proudly welcomed Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth during his visit to Fort Bliss, TX, on April 25, 2025. Hegseth engaged with senior leaders and addressed Soldiers from the 5th Armored Brigade as they prepared to deploy to the Middle East in support of the CONUS Replacement Center mission. “I want to thank you for your service and commitment to your country when it needs it the most,” said Secretary Hegseth.
