Firefighters from Camp Bondsteel's Fire Department respond to a fire during a training exercise that tested the force protection measures in place for the installation. The fire, emulated a situation in which the installation's fuel storage facilities were burning. The firefighters had to control and extinguish the fire, as well as tend to injured personnel who were injured or made ill by the fire. Dan O'Brien, the Force Protection officer for Camp Bondsteel was one of the coordinators for the two-day exercise. "Going through these exercises and making sure everything comes together as it should is just the right thing to do," he said. "We need to make sure we are doing everything we can to keep our soldiers safe and secure." (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt. Pete Morrison, 121st Public Affairs Detachment.)
