Organizers from the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) office and Florida Army National Guard (FLARNG) Soldiers educate civilian employers about the National Guard during the annual Boss Lift event at Camp Blanding Joint Training Center, Fla., Sunday, April 27, 2025.
After the civilian employers arrived from across the state via UH-60 Blackhawk Helicopters and a CH-47 Chinook, they received a firsthand presentation from Maj. Gen. John D. Haas, The Adjutant General of Florida. Haas spoke about the various duties Soldiers hold in the community, highlighting the appreciation of the Florida Army National Guard toward employers' understanding when their employees have to be Soldiers.
