Spc. Robert Fay Jr., an infantryman from Company D, 3rd Battalion, 187th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team "Rakkasans," 101st Airborne Division, reunites with his father, Robert Fay, a former Rakkasan, March 27 at a welcome home ceremony at Fort Campbell, Ky. Although not at the ceremony, Fay's grandfather is also a former Rakkasan, and the three generations of the Fay family have served the elite 187th Infantry Regiment in several wars dating back nearly to the beginning of its history.
