Members of the Training Center Yorktown Chief's Mess gather together on the base parade field following morning colors April 3, 2013. The Chief's Mess collectively donned service dress blue uniforms today in support of Master Chief Petty Officer of the Coast Guard Leavitt's service-wide initiative to add visibility to and demonstrate leadership for the Coast Guard's observance of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The Training Center's chiefs also facilitated small-group discussions and answered questions about the topic for base staff and students throughout the day, demonstrating the Coast Guard and unit's commitment towards eliminating sexual assault.
