The Friends and Family Parade marks the first Friday Evening Parade of the season, giving 8th & I staff, friends and family a chance to see the ceremonial excellence that has defined the "Oldest Post of the Corps" since 1801. It also provides Marines, Sailors and civilians of Marine Barracks Washington an opportunity to execute a full parade before the official season opener on Friday, May 2.
