Rear Adm. Sean A. Pybus, left, director of operations for the Center for Special Operations at the U.S. Special Operations Command, speaks with instructor Cara Greene as they watch students from the Naval Special Warfare Preparatory School swim in the combat survival pool at Recruit Training Command at Naval Station Great Lakes. Greene briefed Pybus on the swimming and training regimen at the facility. The new school is designed to provide candidates with the physical and mental tools necessary to pass the Basic Underwater Demolition/Seal program to support increased special warfare manning requirements.
