Mathieu Tartiere, center, NATO ACT program director of Alliance Future Surveillance and Control, and Laryssa Patten, Canadian space engineer and expert for NATO Communications and Information (NCI), visit the Joint Commercial Operations cell (JCO) facility in Colorado Springs, Colo., April 7, 2025. During the visit, the JCO provided briefings on its various mission sets including protect and defend, tactical surveillance, Reconnaissance and Tracking (TacSRT), and Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO), and demonstrations of operational toolsets. The JCO provides diverse, timely, non-classified Space Domain Awareness (SDA) and alerting services throughout the globe to U.S. Space Force, U.S. Space Command, and over 18 Allied and partner Nations, 24 hours a day, 5 days a week.
