KOROR, Palau (Apr. 11, 2025) – Cmdr. Travis Brinkman (Right), Commanding Officer of Naval Mobile COnstruction Battalion (NMCB) 3, is briefed by Project Supervisor, Builder 2nd Class Andres Luz (Left) and Crew Leader, Builder 2nd Class Liam McCarthy (Middle) on the ongoing construction of the baseball dugouts. Detail Palau played a key role in providing high-quality construction support, contributing to the successful preparation and execution of the event. Their efforts helped Palau deliver the dugout for the Mini Games, showcasing the skills and capabilities of the U.S. Navy's construction forces while fostering strong ties with our Pacific Island partners. NMCB-3 serves as the stand-in engineering force for Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet, executing high-quality construction operations, activities, and investments, and is capable at the unit-of-action level to support major combat operations in the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command area of responsibility with efficient airfield, waterfront, and advanced base construction.
