Workers prepare meals at the Ministry of Education School Meals Program, Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis, that will be distributed to more than five thousand school children across the Federation March 31, 2025. U.S. Air Force Reserve Citizen Airmen are deployed to the area in support of the Lesser Antilles Medical Assistance Team (LAMAT) 2025, a global health engagement initiative that aims to provide biological, physiological and social wellness of individuals and by request of the host nation Ministry of Health. A team of dietitians and nutritionists visited the School Meals Program and provided discussions and courses on meal preparation and planning, nutrition education and more.
