A team of Nevisian and U.S. Air Force medical providers conduct an ultrasound on a pediatric trauma patient to aid in quick decision-making and treatment options at the Alexandra Hospital, Charlestown, St. Kitts and Nevis, March 28, 2025. The U.S. Air Force Airmen are mobilized to the Federation in support of the Lesser Antilles Medical Assistance Team (LAMAT) 2025, which is a global health engagement that aims to build trust and confidence between DoD medical services and partner nation medical agencies through information exchange, coordination of activities of mutual benefit and enhanced interoperability.
