U.S. Soldiers from the 277th Support Maintenance Company, Georgia National Guard and the 724th Engineer Battalion, Wisconsin National Guard, assigned to Joint Task Force - Southern Border, are guided by U.S. Border Patrol’s air assets during a joint patrol along the southern border near Del Rio, Texas on April 9, 2025. Under the direction of U.S. Northern Command, Joint Task Force – Southern Border aligns efforts to seal the southern border and repel illegal activity and is responsible for full-scale, agile, and all-domain operations, which will allow for more effective and efficient DoD operations.
