Randall Peck, Commander, Expeditionary Strike Group 3, on how the DoD Lock Program and EXWC’s Explosions Effects and Consequences department work together for testing of technologies for blast doors, at Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (NAVFAC EXWC), Naval Base Ventura County, Calif., March 6, 2025. EXWC will propose new blast door designs and try different ways to break through it to see if it meets standards.
