Mortar teams across the globe take the Expert Physical Fitness Assessment (EPFA) as a part of the 2025 International Best Mortar Competition April 7, 2025, at Peden Field, on Fort Benning, Georgia. The EPFA consists of, per person: a one-mile run, 30 hand-release pushups, a 100-meter sprint, lifting a 40 lb. sandbag 16 times, a 50-meter water can carry, a 25-meter high crawl, a 25-meter three to five second rush, and concludes with an additional one-mile run.
