KITTERY, Maine (Mar. 25 2025) - Personnel from our allied nations are provided a tour of Dry Dock #1 modernization to include the Super Flood Basin and Multi-mission Dry Dock during a visit to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in support of the Australia-United Kingdom-United States (AUKUS) security partnership’s Pillar One initiative. AUKUS, a strategic enhanced trilateral security partnership established Sept. 15, 2021, aims to enhance the security and defense capabilities of each government. The partnership focuses on promoting a free, open, secure and stable Indo-Pacific region while building on strong trilateral ties.
