YOKOSUKA, Japan (April 3, 2025) — Capt. Les Sobol, Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY), welcomes Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) Rear Adm. Nobuhisa Yamaguchi, chief of staff for JMSDF, Yokosuka District, in the installation commanding officer’s office at CFAY headquarters. For over 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services supporting the U.S. 7th Fleet’s forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
